REMINDER – 2020 Holiday Shipping Deadlines
It’s hard to believe that we are only a couple of weeks away from Christmas. Here at DeliverOL we are excited. This is the busiest time of year and it’s already been a pretty busy year for the shipping and logistics industry. During this past year, e-commerce has soared to new heights due to COVID-19, and this is a critical turning point for many businesses.
In order to prepare for the incoming spike in deliveries we have put together a list of holiday shipping deadlines from the 3 major carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS) to help you communicate with your customers and seamlessly streamline your shipping operations with clear expectations. Communicating with your customers is absolutely critical to your business. If you don’t tell your customer that they are going to get their products by certain date, then they will generate their own expectation on the delivery timeframe. Our consumers have no idea what is taking place right now when it comes to delivery demand. The last thing any customer wants is find out or realize is a gift they purchased after the shipping deadline won’t be delivered on time.
